The Bosco and Grandi Parchi Organization is a profit agency of the Venice Municipality aimed at the integrated management of the Mestre Bissuola and San Giuliano Parks. In order to achieve its institutional objects, it is charged to establish a single and independent managing centre of those areas, by planning all animation activities and the development of the areas themselves. Consequently, The Bosco and Grandi Parchi Organization is assigned all the actions of maintenance and upgrading of green areas and those set by the general projects of the park. Therefore, it deals with recreational, sport and economic activities of the two parks, following a global cultural strategy. The aim of the new managing method is the networking of the two areas and the physical and the strategic linking of their urban and territorial functions.
